Privacy Policy for Sachiv Sathi

Sachiv Sathi ("the app") is the member app of the Gram Sachiv Welfare Association Haryana ("the Association", "we", "us"). This policy explains what information the app collects, why, who sees it, and the choices you have.
1. Information we collect
When you register and use the app we collect:
- Identity and contact details: name, father's name, date of birth, phone number, email address, postal address, home town.
- Service details: panchayat, employee ID and the Unique ID assigned by the Association.
- Aadhaar number (12 digits), entered by you at registration.
- Photos: a profile photo you choose, and files such as images, PDFs and videos uploaded by Association administrators.
- Messages: suggestions and chat messages you send to the Association.
- Voting records: that you voted in an election (the app records that a vote was cast so that nobody votes twice).
- Payment status: whether your registration payment succeeded. Card, UPI and bank details are entered on Razorpay's screens and are not seen or stored by us.
- Technical data: a device token used to deliver push notifications, and basic diagnostics created by our service providers.
The app does not use your location, contacts, microphone or SMS. It asks for access to your photos or camera only when you choose to add a picture, and for permission to show notifications.
2. How we use it
- To create and verify your membership and let administrators approve it.
- To show you notices, events, the directory and other member content.
- To run elections and polls fairly.
- To send push notifications about Association news.
- To answer your suggestions and messages.
- To process your registration payment.
- To keep the app secure and prevent misuse.
We do not sell your information and we do not show ads.
3. Who can see your information
Your profile details, including your Aadhaar number, are visible only to you and to Association administrators. Other members cannot see them, except for directory information the Association chooses to publish. Chat messages are visible to you and the administrators.
4. Service providers
We use these providers to run the app. They process data only for us.

Data may be stored on servers outside India. Data is encrypted in transit using HTTPS. We do not disclose your information to anyone else unless the law requires it.
5. How long we keep it
We keep your information while you are a member. If you ask us to delete it, we delete your profile, messages and uploaded photo, except records we must keep by law or that are needed to keep election results valid (for example, an anonymous count).
6. Your choices and rights
- Correct your details: edit them in the Profile tab, or ask an administrator.
- Delete your account and data: email us at the address below from the email you registered with, with the subject "Delete my account". We will act on it within 30 days.
- Turn off notifications: in your phone's app notification settings.
- You may also ask what information we hold about you, or withdraw consent, by emailing us.
7. Children
The app is for adult members. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
8. Security
We limit access to administrators, protect data in transit, and use access rules in our database so members can reach only their own records. No system is perfectly secure, so please keep your login details private.
9. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the date above and, for significant changes, notify you in the app.
